<p><b>නව පිටුව</b></p><div>1789 සිදු වූ ප්රංස විප්ලව සමයේ එරට දේශපාලන කටයුතුවල නිරත වූ ප්රබල කණ්ඩායමකි. 1793 මැද භාගයේ සිට 1794 මැද දක්වා විප්ලවීය ආණ්ඩුව පවත්වා ගෙන යනු ලැබුවේ මොවුන් විසිනි.<br />

බි්රටනි හා ප්රංසයේ අන් කොටස්වලින් ප්රංස ස්ටේට්ස් ජනරාල් සංගමයට තේරී පත්වූ නියෝජිතයන් රැස් ව සිය කටයුතු පිළිබඳ සාකච්ඡා පැවැත්වූ වර්සේල්ස්හි පිහිටි බ්රෙටන් සමාජය (Club Breton) (1793) ජැකොබින්වරුන්ගේ සංවිධානයේ මූලාරම්භය සේ සැලකේ. ජාතික මණ්ඩලය පැරිස් නගරයට ගෙනගිය පසුව ‘ආණ්ඩු ව්යවස්ථාවේ මිත්ර සංගමය’ (Society of the Friends of the Constitution) නමින් ප්රතිසංවිධානය කරන ලද මුත් එය සාමාන්යයෙන් හැඳින්වූයේ ජැකොබින් සමාජය නමිනි. පැරිස් වැසියන් විසින් ජැකොබින්වරුන් යනුවෙන් හඳුන්වනු ලැබූ පූජකවරයන්ගේ තාපසාරාමයක් ව පැවැති ස්ථානයක ඔවුන්ගේ රැස්වීම් පැවැත්වීම ඊට හේතුවිණ.<br />

විප්ලවයෙන් දිනාගත් දෑ ප්රතිවිප්ලවීය බලවේගවලින් බේරා රැකගැනීම ජැකොබින්-වරුන්ගේ ප්රධාන අරමුණක් වූයෙන් ආරම්භක ජැකොබින් සංවිධානවලට සාමාජිකයන් තෝරා ගන්නා ලද්දේ ඉතා සුපරීක්ෂාකාරීව ය. කල්යත් ම පාර්ලිමේන්තු නියෝජිතයන් නොව ප්රංස සමාජයේ බලපෑම් ඇති කළ හැකි කර්මාන්තකරුවෝ ද විද්යාඥයන් වැනි කොටස් ද සුළු ධනේශ්වර (බූෂුවා) පාන්තිකයෝ ද ජැකොබින් සමාජයට ඇතුළත් කරගන්නා ලදහ. 1790 වනවිට ප්රංසය පුරා පිහිටුවන ලද ශාඛා සංවිධානවල සාමාජිකත්ව දහස් ගණනක් විය. ජනතාවට නිරවද්ය අවබෝ්ධයක් ලබාදීමෙන් ඔවුන් හරිමග යැවීම සිය මාර්ගෝපදේශක ප්රතිපත්තිය කරගත් ඔවුහු සමානත්වය හා මහජන පරමාධිපත්යය පිළිබඳ අදහස් කුළුගන්වමින් විප්ලවයට පක්ෂ ව මහජන මතය ගොඩනැගීමට වෙහෙසුණහ.<br />

ප්රංසයෙන් පලා යාමට XVI ලූවී රජු ගත් අසාර්ථක ප්රයත්නයෙන් පසුව ඔහුට සිහසුන අහිමි කරවීමට පෙත්සමක් සකස් කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් ජැකොබින් සමාජය තුළ මතභේද ඇවිලී මධ්යස්ථ මත දැරූවන්ගෙන් සමහරු ඉවත් ව විරුද්ධවාදී කණ්ඩායම්වලට බැඳුණහ. ඉනික්බිති අන්තවාදීන් බලවත් වීමේ ප්රතිඵලය වූයේ යථාර්ථිතිකවාදී මුල් සාමාජිකයන් නෙරපා හැරීම හෝ ඉවත් වීමයි. මෙම ගැටුම් ජැකොබින්වරුන්ගේ කටයුතු සම්බන්ධ ඓතිහාසික වැදගත්කම සීමා කළ එක් හේතුවක් වී යැයි පැවසේ.<br />

1791 දී පැවැත්වූ මැතිවරණවල දී ව්යවස්ථාදායක මණ්ඩලයේ හා පැරිස්හි පරිපාලන ආයතනවල බලය දිනූ ජැකොබින්වරු ව්යවස්ථා කෙටුම්පත් කිරීම, රාජාඥා හා ඇමතිවරුන්ගේ කටයුතු ගැන පරීක්ෂාකාරී වීම හා මහජන මතය හැඩගැස්වීම ආදිය කෙරේ බලපාමින් විප්ලවීය ජයග්රහණ රැුකගන්නා කණ්ඩායමක් සේ සිය තත්ත්වය සුරක්ෂිත කරගත්හ.<br />

1792 දී රාජාණ්ඩුව පෙරළා දැමූ පසුව විප්ලවය මෙහෙයවන ප්රධාන කණ්ඩායම බවට පත්වූවෝ ජැකොබින්වරු ය. ප්රංස සමූහාණ්ඩුව ප්රකාශයට පත්කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව ‘Friends of Liberty and Equelity’ (නිදහසේ හා සමානත්වයේ මිත්රයෝ) යයි නම් ලද ජැකොබින් සමාජයට පැරීසියේ ශ්රමික කොටස් සහ නව ව්යවස්ථාදායකයේ වාමාංශික නියෝජිතයෝ ද බඳවා ගන්නා ලදහ. රජුගේ හිස ගසා දැමීමට හා ජිරෝන්ඩිස්ට්වරුන් බලයෙන් වැටීමට පසුව මොවුහු විප්ලවකාරී ආඥාදායකයක් පිහිටවූහ (1793). ජැකොබින් සමාජවල පනස්දහස ඉක්මවූ සාමාජික සංඛ්යාව අතර ස්ත්රීහු ද වූහ.<br />

රාජ්ය පාලන, ආරක්ෂක හා වෙළෙඳ කටයුතු සම්බන්ධ බලතල සියතට පවරාගත් ජැකොබින්වරු සිය මත නොපිළිගත්තවුන් දේශද්රෝහීන් සේ සැලකූහ. නිදහස, සමානත්වය හා සහෝදරත්වය ගැන විශ්වාස කළ ද පොදු ජන අවශ්යතා හා ඉල්ලීම් නොසලකමින් පවත්වා ගෙන යනු ලැබූ ආඥාදායකත්වය නිසා එම කාලය භීම රාජ්ය සමය (Reign of Terror) නමිනුදු හඳුන්වනු ලැබේ. කලින් ඇමති මණ්ඩලය සතු ව තිබූ බලතල අත්කරගත් මහජන ආරක්ෂක කමිටුවේ නිල දැරූ රෝබෙස්පියර් ජැකොබින්වරුන්ගේ නායකත්වය ගෙන පැරිස් සමාජය මගින් සිය බලපෑම් ව්යාප්ත කළේ මෙසමයේ දී ය. ආඥාදායකු ලෙස කටයුතු කළ ඔහුගේ අණපරිදි විප්ලව සමයේ නායකත්වය දැරූවන් ද සහිතව බොහෝ දෙනෙක් මරණයට පත් කරන ලදහ. ඉනික්බිති ජැකොබින් නාමය දැඩි විප්ලවවාදීන් හැඳින්වීමට යොදන ලදි.<br />
